Automate moving a completed Task to a different Project

Hi There!

I was wondering if anyone knows any way to automate moving a completed task to another project. For example, we use Asana to manage clients’ social media calendars. However, we would like our internal team to approve and make revisions without the client being involved in that process.

I was wondering if there was a way to have a project where we make changes revisions and feedback to a task, and then when that task is marked complete, it automatically moves to another board? (where I could have our client as a guest and allow them to give feedback and approve)

I know you can manually do this, however, we currently have 7 social media boards, and haha it would save me a LOT of time to have this automated! Any Tips and Tricks are welcome! THANKS!

Hi @Bethany_Chisholm

You can easily do this with a rule.

@Getz_Pro That’s a copy, not a move (including deletion in project of origin), right?

You can do a move or multi-home @Stephanie_Oberg
