Like you can set projects to be automatically added to a portfolio if created by a template, is there a way to automatically set them to join a goal.
Or for projects that have been added to a set portfolio to track in a goal…
Basically - in case I didn’t write it clearly.
When you create a project template you can automatically add the created project into a set portfolio.
I want the project to also automatically track into a team goal.
Possible??

Thanks for sharing your feedback @Becky_Manson! This is in our team’s radar and hopefully we will launch it in the future. I’ll keep you posted.
well I am excited by this!!
Thanks @Emily_Roman
Hello hello @Emily_Roman!
Our team is also wondering about this automation. Any update?
Thanks
Anecdotal use-case :
Our team manages known repeatable work where our runbook is baked into templated projects (the parameters of each do not change often). Each instance of this repeatable work is way too complex to be folded under templated tasks, so projects are the only fit. Each operator spawns a templated project at the start of one of these ‘engagements’ and uses the pre-defined structure to track and update until completion (typically 4 weeks end to end).
We use ‘milestones’ in each project to track adherence to a given % completion as part of a goal. There are 4 milestones in each project, and our goal is that all projects complete at least 3 milestones through their lifetime.
So our ideal state, therefore, is that when a project is created from a template like this, in our Portfolio, it should be able to automatically link with this goal.
Today, this involves manually reviewing new templated projects and linking them with the goal which isn’t ideal.
Thanks
