Asana rules showing as running but not actually running

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: In any of my projects, the rules that are set up and have been previously working are not working anymore. They show as running and working, but the changes do not actually take place.

Steps to reproduce: Ongoing for several days

Browser version: Chrome Version 115.0.5790.170

What version of Asana are you using (Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise)? Basic

This might be a mis-configuration rather than a bug, since we haven’t received other reports about rules issues recently.

Our Support team would be best equipped to investigate this for you, since this would require access to your project/task URLs.

To contact our Support team, please do the following:

  1. Access asana.com/support
  2. Select “I’m having trouble with”
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select “Let’s talk”

And to expedite your request, I recommend including the following in your message:

  • Screenshot of the rule settings of the rule that is not running
  • A task URL link of a task where the rule should have run
