Our product team has reviewed similar reports previously and this type of issue might’ve appear after you cleared your browser cookies. We set a cookie in the browser during the desktop login flow in order to indicate that links should redirect to the desktop app.
This cookie does not get set during the normal web app login flow. In this case, you will need to complete the login flow for the desktop app again in order to re-enable redirects.
To solve this issue, please log out and log back in from your Asana account from both Asana desktop and browser.
