On the Asana desktop app, I have Personal Projects and my work-related workspace. I never use the personal projects workspace.
Before the app update in November it used to remember the last workspace I used so it opened up in my work workspace, but now it opens up in my personal projects workspace by default which is really annoying.
- Open the app on desktop (MacOS)
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right and switch to a different workspace.
- This opens another window. Close the personal projects window.
- Close the app
- Re-open the app and you’ll notice it opens the Personal Projects window by default rather than the one that was selected when the app was closed.
Switching workspaces opens a new window in the main screen too, even if you’ve moved the app to a second monitor, which adds to the irritation.
