I manage a set of portfolios, templates, and projects that use automations to ensure specific tasks in specific sections have the correct custom field selection and are in the proper section. I use this automation in active projects and it works well- however, when I try to add the rule to the template that is used to generate these projects (we are on an advanced license and do not have access to bundles) I cannot get the “Use AI” option to populate when asking the rule to move the task to a corresponding section.
When I build this rule within an active project, the option is available. Is this by design or could it be a bug? The image below shows the rule being built in the template and the “Use AI” option is not present.
However, it is not actually missing from project templates!! In my experience, ONLY the section “Use AI” is missing. You can see in the same rule I am able to use AI to fill the custom field.
Those of us with Advanced licenses desperately need these features in Templates. Without access to the bundles, it’s a massive lift to make updates to each project as they are created and keeping them up to date. In my team’s application, we may only have four or five active projects at a time, but updating the template at least means new projects take a little less upkeep at the outset.
Any guidance you all can provide around the capabilities in Templates is greatly appreciated- especially a roadmap for access within Templates (and when we can expect to utilize the AI agent within Portfolios!)

I believe a relevant next step would be to convert this topic into a English Forum > Product Feedback
I would slightly change the title to make it more shaped as a request for the product team.
Waiting for your green light before making that move.
