Whenever I apply a “Team” to a chart, it deletes all data from that chart (i.e. chart is empty). This isn’t possible because there are close to 20 people that are part of that team who are actively completing tasks daily.
Am I misunderstanding what this filter does?
are those 20 people assigned to the tasks or just on the team?
Those 20 people are part of the team. Only one would be assigned to the task.
We have teams that add/remove people all the time - so I’m looking for a way to filter assignee to “people of that team” rather than having to manually update assignees one-by-one on every chart every time personnel changes for that team.
Hi @Liz_Ziser, thanks for reaching out!
As you are using the Assignee filter for the X-axis, this chart will show all tasks from a specific team and sort by Assignee. Are the tasks in Internal Ops team’s project assigned to specific users or are they just being completed without being assigned first?
Looking forward to hearing back from you
Hi, @Rebecca_McGrath ! I’m not sure I understand your question.
You can see here what I’m trying to achieve here:
As you can see, I’ve applied a filter for “Assignee” where I’ve had to add/remove people one-at-a-time (across a variety of charts) to make sure these charts reflects accurately. That’s super time-consuming and prone-to-error, as you can imagine.
The members of the TEAM are always up to date. So I’d like to filter to include “people of THIS TEAM” instead since that would automatically reflect those apart of that team at that time (without having ti update manually every time members change).
However, when I apply the filter at the top to include “Tasks from team”, it just blanks out the chart:
Hi @Rebecca_McGrath Just wanted to follow up! We need to create dashboards for our entire Customer Ops Team, but this filter is holding us back. As it stands now, I’d have to add each person individually across ~50 charts - then update those charts every time a team member was added/removed.
I need a way to filter charts by members of a TEAM so I don’t have to make those adjustments one-by-one each time.
Let me know if this is possible. We’re hoping to roll out dashboards by Thursday (and need time to create). Thanks so much!
Thanks for following up, @Liz_Ziser! At this time, you would need to add each user manually. I’ve gone ahead and updated the title of your post to reflect your request - don’t forget to add your vote by clicking the purple vote button up top!
Hopefully this is something our Product team can implement in the future as they iterate on Reporting. I’ll keep you posted and let you know if we have anything in the works

Whoof, okay, thanks for confirming Rebecca. This will take a LOT of manual hours to keep these charts updated across users. But I guess that’s our only option.
