Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
When using the Timeline view, there is a way where I can mark tasks done even though they are still blocked by other tasks that have not been complete
Steps to reproduce:
When you hover your cursor over tasks with both a start and end date, it shows a check that can be used to mark complete even if that task is still blocked by another one
Browser version:
Currently using both the desktop app and Chrome

Hi @Steven_Corliss1, welcome to the Asana Community Forum! This is currently working as expected and it’s not a bug. As it stands, it’s currently not possible to prevent dependencies from being complete, if you try to mark dependencies complete from List view or your My Tasks you will receive a warning indicating the task is still waiting for another task. This is something we hope to implement in the future.
