Milestone can be marked complete despite incomplete dependencies

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
Tasks that use the milestone feature can be marked complete even when they are dependent on other tasks that have not been marked incomplete. It doesn’t make sense given that this is how other tasks work and generally (at least in my work) milestones typically have several dependencies.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Mark a task as a milestone
  2. Add a dependency to that same task (on an incomplete task)
  3. Mark milestone task as complete.

Browser version:
Google Chrome Version 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

As it stands, this is an expected behaviour, if you haven’t yet, I would highly recommend you to add your vote to this #productfeedback thread: Prevent dependencies from being marked complete

I’ll make sure to keep you posted as soon as I have an update on this topic!

You’ll quickly realize that Asana does not really have ways to “block” people from doing anything. This would be so annoying to be able to complete other tasks just to complete one I believe…
