Ability to work on all levels of subtask from List view

I bet you do not see the expand/collapse arrows because you have your project filtered or sorted. It only works when neither is applied. You may want to vote here:

Display subtasks on List view when project is filtered/sorted

A great new feature. A big “thank you” to the Asana team Just a small drawback which should be fixed: When you apply a filter to the list (in my case on task of this week), then this feature doesn’t work anymore. No idea if this is a bug or intended.
