Ability to duplicate a Custom Field

For custom fields, can you please enable them to be duplicated because sometimes you need a very slight variation in, for example, the order of items in a custom field for a project, and you can’t alter that because it will alter it for all other projects that contain that custom field.

Same for rules, instead of having to build one and the same rule for each project, can’t they be in some library where I can just pick and add them and customize them as needed? Otherwise it’s just grueling work having to work with rules of 20+ projects individually….

The good news here is that it’s marked as “In Development” meaning that Asana is actively working on it!

I full agree with @Richard_Sather that the custom field library should (almost) always be the solution. But for very rare use-cases where duplicating a Custom Field is needed, I think I’ve found a workaround. There is one case where this seems to be possible to duplicate a field: when this field is locked by one user, then, another user gets a button to copy the field and its options!
