Just commenting to say that this is similar to the earlier thread Adjust date format of Variable dates in rules (DD/MM/YYYY) and related to Ability to manually adjust Date Format in Asana Settings , though the standard workaround in the latter thread of adjusting your browser/OS localisation options don’t help with this as the conversion from date field to text occurs server-side.
