I have created a rule in a project to write a comment on overdue tasks, and note the date the task was due:
However Asana will write this in USA format, for example 04/25/2025 instead of the more commonly used 25/04/2025.
Asana will show a user a date format in date fields based on their browser set up. This means that I see the correct date format on date fields of MM/DD/YYYY. But as Asana is adding a comment to a task, it is choosing the Asana USA default MM/DD/YYYY.
It should be possible to have the correct date format by for example, taking the date format from the user setting up the rule, or having a setting in administration - anything to ensure users outside the USA do not get confused. List of date formats by country - Wikipedia
Alternatively, the date used on comments should be with text, for example “25 Apr 2025”.
