The rule where you can make task titles and use variables.
If you use the date to rename your task, is there anyway to stop it being US format??
The due date is set in UK format but with the naming it brings it in as US!
Can anyone help or advise if this is by design or bug, as a client of mine cannot use it if it is the case and I think that if you are set to UK then surely the rule should rename as UK
Would love to be able to change the way a date is displayed in a task from a rule to the UK (date then month) as currently always comes out the US way ( month then day).
Would actually love to be able to change the date format like you can in excel so you can just have the date & month and not the year for this rule function as less ‘busy’ in the task title then
Dates are always tricky with programming. I believe how you see date fields is generally governed by your OS and/or browser localisation settings. This can’t work with rules, as the rules are also running when you don’t have Asana open.
An option to choose the date formatting in the rule settings would make sense and solve this.
With converting dates to text I’m always hoping for an option to do yyyy-mm-dd, as with this an alphabetical sort would also be a chronilogical.
