Has this feature been added yet? We also would like to add weights to certain tasks or certain sections so that when we complete them, it reflects a more accurate picture of our progress against the whole project.
Hi @Nee , you can use any number field as an effort level. This can include estimated time or percent allocation or any number value such as story points, complexity etc. This has been available for some time now.
Thanks Richard but that still doesn’t reflect on the Task progress. For instance: if I have 5 tasks, Asana automatically assigns them as equal weights, so if I mark complete 4 out of the 5 - the Task progress on the linked portfolio will say 80% done. But I would like to set-up the tasks in a way where if Task #5 is actually weighted at 50% and I’ve finished Task #1-#4, the Task progress will only say 50% completed.
Is there a way you’d recommend I could use a number field to reflect this kind of progress?
Ah, so just to get this right, you are not asking about the Portfolio’s Workload but instead, the Progress bar in the List view of a Portfolio?
Yes, that’s right!
