Archived Projects are hidden from the overview or dashboard by default.
It is currently possible to show Archived Projects or make them visible, but Asana has removed the ability to hide them again. There used to be a filter button to choose to see them or not. Now a project is cluttered with Archived projects and I have no way to hide them. This has the effect of reducing productivity. Please add this functionality back!
Welcome, @Mic_Lazzari1,
This was recently a problem but the change was rolled back by Asana. If you refresh, it might fix the problem. See also:
Thanks,
Larry
I am seeing this happening again. Can this be fixed? I don’t want to see my archived projects on the sidebar.
I also see this issue and am trying to reach out to Asana to see what the problem is.
We also see this issue please help!
This is the final straw for us and we will be closing our account. Asana really need to find developers who have actually run projects.
It’s happening on my end also. If you would please fix this, it would help a whole lot.
FYI this only happens in the more expensive plan, not on the starter plan.
Just for the record, I also have problem to find my archived projects. The tasks appear in an advanced search, but I can never look at the archived project itself directly.
still an issue for me too
I see this was marked as solved in April but is available for voting. It feels odd to vote for something as product feedback that seems like a bug based on the timeline of comments about this. I appreciate @Clare123 who said it’s only occurring in expensive plans and not on the starter plan. We have Enterprise and I am assisting a colleague who noticed their archived projects were showing up (brightly lit and with no “archived” tag) in their left sidebar when they hover over the portfolio name, whereas when you click into the portfolio you can at least see the “archived” tag. This is hindering productivity, as their favorite starred portfolios they use to keep work organized have unexpected, archived projects mixed in with the list they are scanning through as they look for their active, relevant work.
I am currently experiencing this and would appreciate a solve from Asana.
