Windows App: "Out of date, please refresh." ... but no Refresh button?

Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing:
The app window is faded, and there is a gold message in the lower-left corner: “Out of date, please refresh.” However, there is no Refresh button on the app. The words in the message do not link to a refresh feature. When I click on Home in the Asana menu, the app just spins and does not load anything. As far as I can tell the only way to Refresh is to close and re-open the app. I suggest that if you are going to have this message/condition… either build in a Refresh feature/button, or change the wording to say please close and re-open the app.

Steps to reproduce: n/a - I went away for a long weekend, and came back to this. On the browser version I simply reload the browser when this happened in the past. In the app …?

Browser version:
n/a - Windows App

Hi @Melissa_Hayden-Raley, welcome to the Asana Community Forum :wave:t2:

I’m sorry to see that you’ve run into this issue! Could you please try reinstalling the desktop app and let me know if this resolves the issue?

If not, please confirm what device and OS version you are using so I can look into this further for you

I closed and re-opened the app, which cleared the Out of Date message as expected.

RE reinstalling… was a Refresh button added that I am missing? The short-term fix is to close and re-open, which I’ve done. The long-term fix I expect is to add a refresh button/option. If that has not yet been done then reinstalling won’t help any further at this time.

I am using Windows 10.

Hi @Melissa_Hayden-Raley, thanks for following up. Glad to hear this is fixed for you.

While there is no refresh button in the app, you can right click and select Reload to refresh the app.

I hope this helps!
