When importing via CSV do Assignees that don't aren't currently a part of the org get "invited" or do the tasks remain blank?

If you Import by CSV can someone remind me what the behavior is when tasks are assigned to those not currently part of the org? Are those assignees mapped to the tasks and then invited to the project/org OR will the tasks be blank on the Assignee field?

My gut tells me it is the latter given the guide states as follows… I’m just too lazy (read: busy) to test at the moment :wink:

Historically there was an option to invite assignees in this instance, but that doesn’t appear to be an option any longer… so I was curious on the default behavior… if anyone knows off hand. Thanks!

Hi @LEGGO! You can only assign tasks via the CSV importer to existing members. If the email address in your CSV is not part of the Organization, the task assignee field will be blank :slight_smile: It’s currently not possible to invite new users when importing a CSV file.

You can try by assigning to jerod+whateveryoulike@gmail.com :slight_smile:
