What if an AI teammate could pave the way for an upcoming hire?

I had an interesting thought yesterday about AI teammates.

What if they could pave the way for someone joining your team soon? Or even help you figure out what you actually need in order to welcome that person?

Let’s take an example.

You feel like you need a CSM. Someone to take care of your clients. It’s been a problem for a while.

What if you created an AI teammate for that role? You’d add them to a bunch of relevant tasks and tell them: you’re here to pave the way for the actual CSM who’s joining soon. You can also invite that teammate to different projects, or even goals and portfolios.

This teammate could then challenge what they need in order to do the job properly. And when the real CSM arrives, they can immediately see what’s already been happening, what tasks were there, where the challenges were, and what worked or didn’t.

You might even improve your own understanding of what the CSM role really looks like inside your org.

And maybe, once the person joins, that AI teammate sticks around. They’re already looped into a lot of projects. Why not make them part of the daily flow, they can be your CSM sidekick?
