Using Asana with ContentStudio for social media planning

For teams that plan content in Asana and publish to social media: ContentStudio pairs well with Asana as the scheduling and publishing side of the workflow.

A setup that works well:

  • Plan, draft and approve posts as tasks in Asana
  • Move approved content into ContentStudio to schedule across your social channels
  • Use ContentStudio’s analytics to report back on performance

The two can be connected with no-code automation tools, so approved tasks can turn into draft posts without copying them over by hand.

Does anyone else use this combination? Curious how others have set it up.

Hi @Charles_Trevis . Welcome to the community! :star_struck:

I like this workflow. Asana is strongest as the cross-functional planning layer: briefs, ownership, approvals, deadlines, dependencies, and visibility across campaigns. Then a social publishing tool can take over for scheduling and analytics. If I were setting it up, I’d use custom fields for channel, publish date, status, campaign, and asset links, then automate the handoff only after approval.
