Gotta be honest. Very surprised that this isn’t already implemented. This is a high level need for my team.
It’s still very needed. I keep having to click the filter CONSTANTLY to get to a view with just my items. Every day, every view. The fact that you guys can’t see how important this is makes me really annoyed and lets me know you don’t actually use your own product.
Our team switched from Hive and it’s difficult not having the ability to generate summary views on a user-specific basis.
Example scenario: We want to view one person’s individual workload on the team, perhaps as a calendar view to see what their workload looks like over the month. We would have to set a filter each time, which would be reset when we switch views. Or we would set up a project for each team member (30+) which is what we plan to do for now as a work-around - though it’s a clunky one. Of course, we could make views at the top of the project that are shared with everyone, but my understanding is there’s a limit on them.
Hoping this is in the works soon - it would make a world of difference.

For what it’s worth, the limit of saved tab views was recently raised from 12 to 50, in case that helps.
However, have you tried adding the fairly new Workload tab view within your project? To make the most out of it, make sure that all tasks are be assigned with due dates.
Can we please get this? It’s been 5+ years, and it shouldn’t be a hard thing to add. 5 years of re-adding my filters multiple times a day adds up to over a literal day of lost time.

You could create a new view tab, saved to your needs. There can be more than one List, Board, etc view per project.
It’s inconvenient to create a separate tab for each team member, especially when the team has more than 10 members. It’d be a lot easier if users could create their own private tabs with their own filters that no other team member has access to.

Though not yet a roadmap commit, we do plan on doing scoping, UXR and design work for this functionality in the next 1-2 quarters. Status updated to Considered!

Yes, I would like this too. I always want the List view, but the project admins set the default view to what they want.
A quick update for you all: since my last update in August (where did the Fall go 
), I’ve continued to help build a business case around this feature. We are just now entering our annual planning cycle and based on advocacy using all of your feedback, this is a strong roadmap contender. I’m in close touch with the product teams owning this feature, and I will keep you all updated as we move through our planning cycle!
