Updating dates for dependent tasks does not update subtasks due dates?

Is there a way to do this? or does it have to be manual?

I think if subtasks are specifically included in the dependency chain as well then they could participate.

After seeing this, I checked out the dependencies of the subtasks, and they are included in the dependency chain. I could send some screen shots if you’d like to verify. My dependency management options are set to Maintain Buffer and ignore weekend awareness…

Interesting. If you think it’s not working as described in New Auto-shifting Dates for Dependent Tasks in All Views | Asana Product Guide • Asana Product Guide, then I think you should either post in Report a Bug or email support@asana.com so they can have a look.
