Hey everyone! Is there a way to set up dependencies in a way that if I change the due date of the parent task that it could potentially guide the sub tasks? I have tasks that have pretty standard due dates ie/ task # 2 is due 3 days after task # 1. I was wondering if there is a way to input ”fake” due dates in the sub tasks based on the length that I need to be between each task and just change the due date on the parent task this subsequently changing the sub task dates. I hope that makes sense and I would appreciate any help
Hi,
Due date dependency shifting does not exist yet. Maybe Flowsana can help @Phil_Seeman ?
I am saying dependencies but it does not exist either for task/subtasks.

Thanks, @Bastien_Siebman and hi @Jasmine_Jones!
You might want to take a look at the Auto-Adjust workflow type in Flowsana. Asana has a very limited dependency-shifting capability (and doesn’t really support subtasks except in unusual cases); Flowsana’s is more comprehensive and supports subtasks. There’s a comparison of them here: How is Flowsana’s Auto-Adjust Workflow different from Asana’s dependency shifting?
