Modifying Parent Task affecting dependent tasks

Is there a way to have the subtask or a dependent task’s due date gets updated when I make changes on a parent tasks due date?

For example, I would make a change on the parent task’s due date and it’s dependent task, which is the subtask, should also reflect the same date I have set in the parent task.

Tried that but it keeps giving me a date before the deadline I’ve set in my parent task

I’m expecting it to give me the same date as I have

If you feel it’s not operating as the documentation indicates, perhaps report to support@asana.com with the details of the dependencies you have set, the existing due dates, and the date change you’re making.

Tried it on several ways but updating due dates with dependent task works as it should in the original project where it was created

however in the project where it was multi-homed, it shows me this.
