Sorry for replying here, but it appears that I’m not allowed to create a new post anywhere in the forums. For the past couple of weeks, I have not been able to save my tasks to a CSV file. Whenever I try, it just creates a very short file with only two lines in it. Prior to a couple of weeks ago, this always worked. Has something changed? Do I need to do something to re-enable CSV downloads?
Hi @Mike131, welcome to the Asana Forum! I couldn’t find a bug related to your report so it may be a browser issue. I recommend you trying these troubleshooting steps to try to solve it: Asana Help Center
I hope this helps!
Hi @Emily_Roman - Thanks for replying and moving my post. It looks like you also authorized me to make new posts. Thanks.
I actually tried to go to the help center first, but all that happens is that it loops saying “Please wait a moment while we sign you into the Asana Help Center” over and over again.
Is it possible that you’ve dropped support older Firefox builds? I’m actually still using FF 129.0, which I need to keep for now (long story).
I’ll try to go ahead and experiment with a new Chrome and see if I get any different results there.
@Mike131, If you return to the link about getting Support, you’ll see there’s a form option if the earlier options don’t work for you. This is still being worked on, I’m afraid; sorry.
Hi @lpb , I’m not sure what you mean about a “form option”
I do notice that the ical export appears to export all the data, but that’s going to be a lot harder to use as a backup compared to the csv option.
I am able to get into the help center now. I guess that was a temporary issue. But nothing in there sheds any light on my problem. This is fairly recent. Up to (roughly) three weeks ago, I was able to do a full backup via CSV on using either firefox or chrome. Now the CSV gets truncated using either browser.
The best way to address your need is to contact Support and include the link to this thread and any other info to help them understand your issue.
Try these troubleshooting steps, then please create a support ticket: see How to contact our Support Team.
Note the Option 2 in that link which refers to a temporary form to use to contact Support if the other approaches don’t work for you.
OK, thanks.
