The problem with changing emails

We want to change the email of several people in the organization to the email of another organization (different from ours). One person changed it easily and without problems, but the others are getting an error that the new organization’s domain cannot be added to our organization.

What can we do to ensure that our employees can change their email and maintain access to their tasks and projects?
