Hi there!
I have an Asana team with 60 members and those 60 members are involved in the projects added to the team. Is there any way to make it so the 60 members have commenting/viewing rights over the whole team and not just in the individual projects?
I found that if they are added as members to the team and I change the individual project rights to commenting/viewing it doesn’t matter as they are added as overall members.
Any help is very much appreciated!
Thank you
Hi @Nyah_Alcoz
Welcome to the forum.
I am not sure I fully follow. The project permissions should override the teams’ permissions.
You can check this guide section here on permissions: https://help.asana.com/hc/en-us/articles/14108223663003-Project-permissions

Hi!
Thanks for your reply. I meant more like what I attached, this is a screenshot of what I would like help with. This person was added to a project within an Asana team and I would like them to stay a commenter, however this person can still edit because of being part of the whole Asana team. Is there a function for adding someone to an Asana team to keep them from editing all projects in that Asana team?
is it possible @Nyah_Alcoz that the project these permissions are taken from are not private projects?
If the project is public to the team, then yes, the member access will be set on teams level.
Try and change the project to private project, and then check if the commenter permission level works.
Let me know.
