How do I get a view of what a particular team member has assigned to them? As a team manager, is there a way to view all tasks assigned to each team member and also edit those tasks, e.g., by dragging and dropping them from one member to another?
Can Asana create a ‘Team Level’ board?
Welcome, @Bento1183,
If you’re on a paid plan, you can use Advanced Search to specify all those assignees you’re interested in, and any other meaningful parameters, and see a list of results which you can then sort by Assignee.
You can “star” that search result to name it and save it in your left sidebar for use anytime.
You can click the Assignee field for a task and change it.
Regarding a “team level board” you can see a Calendar view for all tasks with a due date that are in any projects in a single team. Click the team name in your left sidebar, then the Calendar tab.
You can also use the multi-home feature to create projects that combine work from other projects.
See help.asana.com for each of these features.
Thanks,
Larry
Hi Larry, Thank you! Happy to be here!
Thank you for your reply.
This is fairly close to what I am looking for. I was hoping to see a team board similar to the ‘My Tasks’ board.
I will look into your suggestions further and see what will work for us.

Are you using Asana projects for tasks? Usually you’d set up those collaborative spaces (and use multi-homing) to achieve what you’re describing.
