Briefly describe (1-2 sentences) the Bug you’re experiencing: When i go to my tasks and sort by project, it is only showing some projects and not others

Hi @Stacy_Hartman, welcome to the Forum! I’m sorry for the trouble. Is it possible that these tasks are in fact subtasks? If so, you would have to manually associate them with the Project so that the Project name shows up when you “Sort by Project”.
This is because subtasks do not automatically inherit the Project or assignee from their parent tasks, even if the subtask is under a parent task associated with the Project. Please let me know if this helps.

These are not sub-tasks, just regular tasks within the project.

Maybe they are subtasks? How do I make them regular tasks so they show? They look like regular tasks to me.
It looks like it is because my tasks are not assigned. Is there a way to make all tasks default to be assigned to me?
Hi @Stacy_Hartman, sorry for the delay. So the issue was that the tasks were not assigned to you, correct? As @Bastien_Siebman mentioned, it is not possible to have the tasks automatically assigned to you. Also, I’d like to mention that you wouldn’t need to convert a subtask into a task so that it shows in the List view. You just have to add a Project to the subtask and it will be listed in all your views as the parent tasks do. Please let me know if you need anything else
