tasks are assigned to me by Asana every night

hello

every night, Asana decide to assign me some tasks that are not assigned to me.

  • there’s no rules on the tasks’ project.
  • it’s not everyday the same tasks
  • it’s always tasks where something happened some days ago (i commented, i changed delay, i changed owner, …)

it happens since last update.

is anybody have the same issue .. and know how to change it

Hi @Berger_Marc , welcome to the forum.
If you open a task and scroll to the bottom and checkout the tab ‘All activity’ can you see a :high_voltage: with the name of a rule that is assigning the task to you?

Hi Richard, and thanks for the feedback,

but the rule is not about owner :

the rule (i can’t show you screenshot) says : when due date is coming (Tasks to finish today) then move to section “To do today”)

As you can see, the rule is about move my tasks on antoher section in the “my tasks” list … but not to assign them. And it should only concern my tasks.

i just check and i can’t add anything like “check if the ask is allowed to me” before the move.

that looks like all the tasks in asana which have the due date to today will be assigned to me :open_mouth: ?

@Berger_Marc,

It’s a little confusing, but I bet you have this My Tasks rule set to “Run on subtasks.” One way to fix it is to toggle that off.

thanks for the feedback

i just change the settings (by disabling option for sub-tasks). let’s see tomorrow morning if it’s ok.
