I want my boss to follow a main parent task, but I don’t want her to be notified every time something happens in a sub task! If she is only following on a selection of subtasks, will that be it. and I want her to follow at the higher level parent task as well.
@Kelly_Baker, Yes, that should work fine; she won’t get notified on the details of subtasks she’s not following, regardless of whether she follows the parent task.

larry, thanks. I FIGURED and thought that was it, but just didn’t trust it and couldn’t find a clear description or answer to that in Asana’s help pages…

Does the person who created the task automatically get assigned as a collaborator on all subtasks (from a template)? And if so, can this be disabled?
