I and my team have just started using Asana. Every time we comment on a task the task gets duplicated automatically. We tried merging those tasks from time to time but whenever we comment on a task it again duplicates.

That does sound quite strange! Could you please send me a screenshot of the task in question? Please make sure to capture your whole browser window and to remove/hide any private information!
