Task Collaborator Permissions

Hello guys, I was wondering in Private Project if I set Task Collaborators role as “Commenter” and when I add new collaborators to task which are not part of the project, they can only see that task but I was wondering what permissions do they have, if they have “Commenter” role they should only be able to comment or they can also invite new users as collaborators?

@Asmir_Coral - welcome to the forum! Project permissions only dictate access controls for tasks in that specific project (and if that task is multi-homed, permissions may be affected by the multi-homed project settings). If a task is not in a specific project, then that project’s permission settings will not affect that task.

@Asmir_Coral Adding to @Stephen_Li 's feedback:

People who are commenters at project level can not invite others to the project.

I’ve observed a change in commenter rights on Tasks lately. Commenters don’t seem to be able to add task collaborators anymore directly, but they are able to add them by @mentioning them.

Like Stephen mentioned though, mult-homed tasks might give people different rights in different projects.
