Tags disappears after creation. I only have two existing tags and it won’t accept new tags

Make sure you’re adding the tag directly on the task with Tab+T and confirm it shows in the Tags column in List view. Search for the exact tag name to verify it exists, since tags are unique per workspace and won’t duplicate.
You can also try creating the same tag on another task or project to see if it’s project-specific. If it still doesn’t appear, do a hard refresh, test in an incognito window or another browser, and switch between the desktop and web app. Finally, confirm you have edit access to the task, because comment‑only projects won’t allow you to change tags.
