I’ve searched the forum and found several topics asking about this with the response being ‘it is not currently supported’. So I’ve created this English Forum > Product Feedback thread to consolidate some votes.
I checked again and it seems to still be the case. Let’s assume the following scenario:
- Portfolio: “Clients” cannot contain a roll up formula Rollup (Rollup (Cost))

- Nested Portfolios: “Client A”, “Client B”, “Client C” each contain fx Rollup(Cost)

- Projects in Nested Portfolios: “Project 1” (in Client A), “Project 2” (in Client A) each project contains field Cost.

The issue is the main portfolio “Clients” cannot display a rollup formula of the total cost of each Client portfolio (which is the total cost of all the projects within each client portfolio).
This can only be currently achieve with dashboards.
