echoing this comment!! great idea and in a similar boat - I’ve been using Asana less and less since I first posted in here years ago and slow dev (and weird priorities) like this is def part of why I never recommend it for clients anymore when Asana used to be my go-to! (and I can actually use keyboard shortcuts with other programs and organizers/task managers)
would love to see this addressed soon!
Tab as leader key makes sense for normal keyboards - in fact quite clever way to avoid shortcut clashes. But for any ergo users this is a nightmare!
Since Tab is a ‘tap only’ key, a lot of us put it on a Mod Tap key: if I tap and release the key, it’s Tab, if I hold it, it’d switch layer.
Since I have to hold the Tab key to trigger shortcuts, it’s just not possible to use it at all as it’d just change my keyboard layer.
So yeah, a fix is a must for ergo users. For now I have to make do with using things like Raycast to indirectly interact with Asana - and I’m only using Asana because it’s being used at work!
