Subtasks in "My Tasks" still show up under "no project"

Hello,

I see that this forum was marked as resolved, but while the subtask does show the associated project in the project column, when you group by column in My Tasks it still shows under “no project.” I’ve tried dragging these subtasks into the proper project group, but then it creates them as new tasks in that project. Is there a fix for this?

See an example of what I mean here:

The recent update was to indeed display a project in the Project column for subtasks, but the group by was probably not part of the update. At this point it probably isn’t considered a bug, but simply a missing feature. For all we know it might be coming.

I hope it’s coming soon – this is a MASSIVE issue when working cross-functionally on one task. Most of our team uses the My Tasks page rather than going directly into a Project, so they’re at high risk to miss tasks due to them being in the wrong section.

And to me that’s exactly what people should do indeed

I second this! I use My Tasks to keep track of my work, sorted by project, and I can easily miss subtasks that appear under “No project” instead of their correct project.
