Happy to see that this is being worked on! However, I don’t feel that automatically adding subtasks to a project is helpful unless Asana simultaneously removes the issue of that causing a duplicate task in the project view (like you see here, where adding it to the project elevates it to task level). That’s something we can already do to add subtasks to Calendar view, it’s just that that causes a new problem of visually clogged Projects.
I think what’s being asked for here is separate from the “Allow to automatically add subtasks to a project” request that’s under development. The request tracked in this forum is asking to be able to toggle whether subtasks are shown in Calendar view or not.
