By default, I’m a “project admin” on the bulk of our project templates.
- So, when a project gets created from the template, I’m one of the members of the new project.
The issue is that I get a notification in the Asana Inbox any time a project is created from the template(s). I don’t need to know when this happens. There should either be:
- A setting per template that lets you decide whether you want to get notifications when a project is created for it. Either per user/team, or at the “Project members” project permissions area.
- A setting in your user account settings > notifications, to disable inbox notifications when a project is created from a template.
Currently the ONLY way to avoid these notifications is to:
- Remove myself from the project template as a member, then add myself later via API (since we’re using API to create from the templates anyway).
