I have made some Org Templates for Onboarding new staff - these templates have assignments pre-loaded, so that our HR supervisor doesn’t have to automatically put that in whenever making a new template. However, when we generate a new Project, each person is getting a million emails about assigned tasks.
Is there a way for the template to automatically batch the assignment emails into a ‘You have a new Project - go check it for tasks’ sort-of email? Without each person having to turn off their notifications?

While this feature isn’t available at this time, hopefully it’s something our Product team can implement in the future
We do have an existing thread for this feature request in the #productfeedback category so I’ve gone ahead and merged your post with the existing one to consolidate feedback.
I’ll keep you posted and let you know if I have any updates
