Show other fields in Portfolio Timeline beside Project Owner

Is there a place where we can upvote this feature? I am happy to add a reply here and agree with the comments that the project name would be better than owner, but being able to add any custom field would be more flexible and a better option.

I would even prefer a blank bar to my name 30 times in a large portfolio. I am not the project manager for the individual projects.

Click the title to scroll to the top and vote by clicking the Vote button; that’s the quickest and most effective way to express your support for a request.

It’s been over 4 years since this was submitted. Is this really a complicated feature to add? It would make Timeline view 1000x more valuable to my team.

Completely agree. Project owner is not useful to see on the timeline view. Project name, execution status or priority would be great options to add here.

Project NAME/Title is the most useful here. Thanks

It’s finally in!! I just stumbled upon it:

In Portfolio Timeline View:

  1. Click Options in the upper right of the timeline view

  2. Click Layout Options

  3. There is a ‘Show in bar’ drop down. Select Name.
