Sharing Charts with External users

Hello All,

My topic is divided into two parts:

1- How can we share charts or dashboards with external users who don’t have Asana account?

2- Several external users might be using the same dashboard or chart but each one need to see the progress of his own task. I need to automate the customization of the charts so that each user would see the progress of his own tasks registered via forms. They would be able to see the chart via a link sent to them over an automated email or the chart might be integrated into the automated email sent to them.

This is very important feature for my company to build workflow accordingly.

There are some limited options native to Asana, and then some more robust options, available via 3rd-party integrations.

1- How can we share charts or dashboards with external users who don’t have Asana account?
Natively in Asana, you can click the three dots at the top right of any chart to download the image, with another option coming soon. Then you can paste these into another doc to share with the team. Cumbersome, but it’s an option.
However, if you need reporting data available automatically for people outside Asana, you can use a variety of 3rd-party reporting tools, including PowerBI, Screenful, or Zapier + Tables/Airtable/Excel/Goog Sheets/Any online spreadsheet tool. PowerBI and Screenful work great!

Charts are built with customizable filters, but not dynamic. But in Asana and most reporting tools, you can build a dashboard, then duplicate it and adjust the filters

This is very important feature for my company to build workflow accordingly.
