My name is Eugenio and this is my first post in Asana forum.
I tried searching for an answer but I didn’t find it.
So… currently I’m setting Asana environment for my 25 people organization. For the moment, it’s only me and my boss having fully upgraded version of Asana (business).
The others aren’t using Asana yet.
So, I’ve been requested to create some template for projects we’re going to use often. I succeded in making a template from a certain project,
But, on another project, it doesn’t give me the possibility. It says to upgrade my account. But I have upgraded it! (and I could do that on the other project…)
Can anyone help me with this? I think it has to do with something about permissions? Or maybe, members?

Was your complete organization upgrade in Asana or just a workspace or team for example?

Because in case for example only one team was upgraded and the project you are trying to save as template is in another team that could be one reason why it might not be working.
In your specific case I recommend contacting support as they will be able to look into your account directly to see all the details about your plan and set up.

Well, we are an organization but we only upgraded one team (team Asana, they are only the 2 of us there). Where can I see where the project is located?
Maybe by clicking on the “share” button (the blue one) on the top right?
OK, I think I’m getting quite near the solution.
On the project I can save as template, if I click on “share” I’ll see that there is, as member, myself my boss and our team (team asana)
on the other one, instead, it’s only me and my workspace.
I think this is because I created the first one from “inside” the team page. Is there a way to correct this?
Click on the arrow at the top of the project besides the name, then locate “move to another team” and move the project you created to the same the other one is in
Then please try again to see if you can save the project as template
