Rules with Outlook - Project Admin Ability to Edit

When outlook is used in rules, the rule become locked for the creator to edit it.

I have a problem with this for the following reason:

  1. I created a rule (without outlook integration) ready to integrate it with specific users in the exec team. Asana did not let them add the integration because I created the rule

  2. Rules were created by each user - one test happened that ended up breaking the rule. The rule technically was not broken - the field of email was empty in that test. So now I have an alert on the customise tab in the project, and I am unable able to reset the rule because of the outlook integration

What I would like to do:

  • I understand the security around outlook integration. As a project admin, I would like to be able to fix errors within the remit of what was built. If total change of the rule criteria is not an option, the ability to fix the error - such as remove and re-add the same criteria within the outlook integration would be very helpful
