Hello! Thank you for all of your help!
We have multiple video production projects built in Asana for the different types of videos we create. Each project has it’s own unique production process, which is represented as stages by columns. We move the videos through those columns to completed. I am working to extend one of these projects and could use some advice.
For one of these projects, when certain videos are completed, we need to create a new, customized version of this video in a different project with a pre-established workflow. I do not want to drag all the history of the video into the new task in the new project so I do not want to simply add the task to the new project.
Instead, I want to essentially start a clean task by creating a new video task . I currently created a rule that creates a new video task in my new project when the task in question is completed. But I would love to create an asana link back to the original task that instantiated the new video task. This is what I do not know how to do. I have the rest of this workflow built as desired, but I would like to create that Asana link back to the original task so we can jump to it if we have questions.
Any thoughts?
