Rules / Automations not executing for whole Instance

good morning folks :hot_beverage:

since today morning all rules of all projects in our instance are not executing. This affects existing, high volume ones as well as newly created, simple ones for testing like when done → move to section. i can’t find a rule that works. according to execution logs the executions stopped working today at about 00:10 AM UTC+2.

I’m curious, is this an individual case and are we the only ones affected? So far I’ve opened case 10419631 but since this affects our whole company i’m trying to get more intel here.

Same here, however manual triggers seem to work.

We also have that problem. Is Asana aware of it?

My team are also affected by this - project automations are not working, they are all showing as last run 3 days ago

This is impacting us too, and it’s going to be impossible to unpick what was missed across hundreds of projects the longer it continues to not work :sob:

I just received a reply from Asana support:

“The issue you described is indeed a known bug, and our development team is already working hard to fix it.”

Most of our rules stopped triggering, vexing.

We have multiple clients reporting the same issue.

Our organization is affected as well. Does anyone have a timeline for an estimated fix? I suspect it has to do with the rollout of AI Teammates, as this screenshot shows. We have far too many automations for them to be linked to the Teammates, especially considering how few of them actually require the AI Studio.

According to Asana status, it’s now fixed and they are running though the automations that got missed: Asana Status - Automations not running for EU users
