Hello everyone,
Our team is working on how to streamline all requests via Asana. We have created the project, where the new tasks will be created via the intake form based on specific criteria. We would like to have a weekly schedule when tasks will be assigned to a specific team member. The only option available is to assign to a person based on the type of task, but not on the time availability. Is there any workaround on how to assign tasks to different members based on weeks, maybe with the Asana calendar or by integrating Google Calendars, or anything else?
Any suggestion appreciated!

We have a 60 agents in asana. Each agent have the same skill.
But if user add an task, they select most of all the same person in asana.

Now we wanna have random auto-assign of tasks to avoid one agent get most of all tasks. In monday we can do that very easy out of the box. How with asana?

This vote is from 2021? and its still not done in 2023?
Its feeling the user case of asana users is very simple, i have no other idea why no more votes are here for basics like this. 
A solution like asana shout handle basics like this in 2023 out of the box, without need to vote or wait many years…
its better to go back to monday and pay a little bit more for solutions for daily business and not pay for a product that still cant handle basics like that.
And there is also no workflow? I have the feeling asana is only a workflow, because there is no best-case solution for details.

We realy can not understand how bigger projects handle that basics case in their daily business with asana. I cant not understand this situation in 2023. It woud be great, if you share your solution if you have found one.
I disagree, this is not a basic feature, and most people don’t use round robin so I’d rather have Asana work on something else. That being said, I am not the one defining the roadmap, I leave it to them and they use the forum as one of the source to prioritise.
So an brainstorming task is not basic? 
In a brainstorming question you need to tag a lot of users, for example 50 users. If you have per week one brainstorming session in 50 boards, you will have a new fulltime job. 
In monday we can to that out of the box. In asana we need to find “flows” and some tricks in it to do jobs like this. In 2023 with a modern project management tool.
Can you point to a Monday documentation explaining the feature? Because the thread is about round-robin and now you talk about brainstorming in a task, I am confused.
Looks like a very basic feature to me too. When benchamarking tools (we are still doing that rn), this is one of the very forst issue we ecountered.
Hi following up here. Have their been any updates on this potential functionality? We have a set of tasks that come in throughout the day that we’d like to autoassign to our active teammates.
I’d love to see some sort of auto-assigning functionality as well. We have a few recurring tasks that rotate equally among a set of users and currently just have to remember who gets it next after it’s done for that month and the next one is created.
No updates; it’s not a feature of Asana at present.
The only solution I see is to automate using a third party app like Zapier.
You can use a Google Form or any form type like Gravity Form / Ninja form as trigger on the request.
You then have a Round Robin system added via Spreadsheet.
Connect/Integrate your Form > Spreadsheet (Round Robin) > Asana create task/project.
