Rule: When a task is completed, it does not move to the "done" column

Hej hej :slight_smile:
we just implemented asana and set tons of rules - a lot are working quiet fine, but the simple ones are here and there not running well.

When i set the rule, that whenever a task is marked as complete, that it should move to the “done” column, it works not on every board and i really dont get it why.

Does someone has an idea where the problem might be?

It would really help if you could share an uncropped screenshot of your rule so we can see where the problem might be.

What i just see now: both say: rule hasnt run yet - but when i close a task on the first board, it clearly says: rule is running and it moves automatically to the done column. what am i missing here?

Hey @Gabi_Bornschein , for both rules, you will need to do the following:

  1. Hover your mouse over the first card on the left.
  2. Click on the black + icon
  3. Choose When and search for the trigger ‘Task or all subtasks status are changed’ or something close to that wording (I’m on my phone, not at a PC to check)

That 2nd When/trigger should do the job!
