Rolling out now: a new developer console!

Hello all! If you’re reading this, you’re almost certainly an app developer that has to create and manage OAuth apps and personal access tokens though the developer console. We’re happy to announce that we’re now rolling out a brand new developer console! This is mostly a visual redesign that reflects the underlying migration to Asana’s more modern UI and client framework, but we’ve also taken this opportunity to add two new quality-of-life upgrades.

First up: OAuth apps can now have multiple redirect URIs. You’ll no longer need to create separate apps for your different environments.

Second: When you attempt to reset the secret key of your OAuth app, we now show a confirmation dialog before resetting the key, preventing accidental resets.

And, if you’re building an app for general public use, there’s now a clear link to submitting your app for our apps directory.

The UI for PATs doesn’t have any additional functionality, but it sure does look pretty!

We’ll be gradually rolling this out to all users over the course of the next week or so. Let us know what you think, especially if you have requests for future functionality. Special thanks to @Kevin_Quicho for driving this project!
