The recent changes to the Asana sidebar have removed the shortcut icons that previously allowed users to quickly navigate between key areas of the product. The current experience requires expanding the full sidebar menu to access these destinations.
I would like to see either the return of the previous shortcut-based navigation or an option to customize the sidebar and choose which navigation shortcuts are displayed.
The current interaction adds unnecessary steps for frequent navigation and makes the sidebar feel more visually cumbersome. A customizable shortcut experience would improve navigation efficiency while allowing users to configure the sidebar to match their individual workflows.
